ABSTRACT
Objective
To assess the results of colonoscopy surveillance in 5 years after polypectomy non-advanced colorectal adenoma and to identify its risk factors.
Methods
Patients undergoing followed up with within between January 2003 December 2013 were retrospectively analyzed.No substance or only small quantity clear water left intestinal tract colonoscopes accessing ileocecus regarded as complete examination. The initial was baseline colonoscopy. Patients adenomas assigned case group those without control group. Data clinical characteristics findings estimated factors identified.
Results
A total 828 patients included, 374 454 on colonoscopy.The had a low incidence advanced at 1 interval when compared group, both adequate detection rates follow-up 3 1.7%(3/178) 1.4%(2/148), respectively (P>0.05). Regression analysis showed age≥50 old being male independent for recurrence follow-up. No colon cancer found during follow-up.
Conclusion
Surveillance intervals is little benefit who polypectomy. Too early reexaminations due concerns about can be avoided.
