ABSTRACT
Objective To study the risk factors influencing efficacy of uric acid therapy (ULT) in gout patients and to establish an unconditional logistic regression model predict ULT. Methods Seventy-two cases were divided into non-health education group (Group A) health B) followed up for totally 24 weeks. The clinical data measured at baseline including blood lipid, glucose serum (SUA) C-reactive protein (CRP) level flow cytometry determination peripheral NK cell percentage joint ultrasound examination involved joints. Evaluation 64 with complete data, according average SUA frequency acute attack, ULT (whether treatment target achieved) was defined as dependent variable 15 that might affect independent variables Logistic correlation calculate odds ratios (OR) 95% CI. Results After by a full-time doctor baseline, attainment rate (69%) Group B significantly higher than without A (41%, χ2=4.765, P=0.027). Multiple linear analysis showed there no co-linear relationship among variables. Regression three entered model. According partial coefficient, following disease duration [OR=1.497, CI (1.179, 1.901)], number tophi[OR=6.037, (1.201, 30.354)] abnormal [OR=14.484, 95%CI (3.239, 83.896)]. Conclusion In early period ULT, adequate can effectively improve compliance rate. Gout who have longer course disease, more joints involvement, multiple tophi synovial thickening suggest poor response ULT. application is not only helpful diagnosis gout, but also has important significance evaluate ULT.
