ABSTRACT
Objective
To determine CD4+ CD28null T cells and their relationship with the microinflammatory state left ventricular hypertrophy in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients.
Methods
One hundred twenty ESRD patients were selected, including sixty non-dialytic stage 5 chronic kidney patients(CKD5 stage) thirty maintenance dialysis patients(CKD5D stage). In addition, healthy adults from hospital medical center selected as control group.Flow cytometry was used to detect frequencies of lymphocyte subsets peripheral blood. All enrolled subjects underwent Doppler echocardiography investigations.
Results
(1)Compared group, high sensitivity C-reactive protein frequency significantly expanded CKD5 CKD5D paients (F=14.887, 9.659, all P<0.05). (2)In ninety patients, incidence LVH increased (76.67% vs.86.67%). (3)Linear correlation showed that: LVMI positively correlated duration hypertension, SBP, P3+ , lg(CRP+ 1), lgiPTH, lg(CD4+ CD28null+ 1) (r=0.332, 0.291, 0.269, 0.310, 0.304, 0.396, P<0.05), well negatively Hb(r=-0.285, Multiple linear regression analysis that independently associated hypertension(F=6.589, P<0.000).
Conclusion
There is regardless whether or not they have treatment, exhibit a substantially circulating cells. The hypertension are independent predictors CKD indicates these may play critical role development cardiovascular disease.
