Archive analysis of 1056 patients with acute leukemia

Objective To explore the features of patients with acute leukemia (AL) in Hematology Department Shenzhen Hospital affliated to Beijing University during past six years. Methods The data 1056 dignosed our department between 2002-2007 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Results male was predominant (male/female ratio 1.78). number myeloid leukemia(AML) higher than that lymphoblastic (ALL) (AML/ALL 1.85). Most AML young adult (65 %) elderly ALL very rare(1.33 %). AL cases tended increase gradually by year. treatment-related lower reported literature other countries. major cause chemotherapy/radiotherapy psoriasis treated bimolane. Conclusion Some China further confirmed some new also found this study. These changes should be demonstrated next national epidemiology survey leukemia.
