ABSTRACT
Objective To explore the effects of cyclic tensile stresses different magnitudes on expressions apoptosis cytokines and transforming growth factors (TGF) in chondrocytes. Methods Classical methods were used to culture primary chondrocytes New Zealand rabbits. Mechanical exerted onto mono-layer cells cultured by FLEXERCELL-5000T system. The experiment was conducted 3 groups: low magnitude stress group (5% ), high (15% ) control group. applied for 5 days 8 hours per day. harvested S measure gene copies MMP3 (matrix metalloproteinases), MMP13, ADMATS-5 (a disintegrin metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs), TGF-β1 quantitative RT-PCR. Results Expressions significantly enhanced each day but weakened ( P = 0. 002). MMP13 higher groups than 3, one 002) .Levels group, (P Conclusions Gene TGF are differently influenced magnitudes. -β1 may play an important role pathological repair deformed following stress.
