ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the differential diagnosis value of enhanced multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) scan on adrenal adenoma and metastases in patients with malignant tumor. Methods Thirty-nine tumor complicated nodules were chosen, all underwent MSCT plain scan. Features adenomas analyzed. Results Forty-nine gland found 39 patients, 35 metastasis 25 patients. They shown quasi-circular, oval or irregular shaped nodules. The average diameter was (2.6±0.7)cm. Part them uneven density, solid part (32.8±6.1)Hu. enhancement scanning arterial phase mild to moderate strengthening, (49.5±6.9)Hu. further strengthen venous phase, (74.9±8.0)Hu. after 3 min (72.4±7.6)Hu. Fourteen 14 (19.6±4.5)Hu, (1.8±0.4)cm. Enhanced tumors showed homogeneous (43.8±8.1)Hu. Venous obviously, (67.7±9.2)Hu. strong degree delay period decreased significantly, (55.9±8.8)Hu. (t=4.006, P<0.001), (t=7.320, (t=2.486, P=0.017), (t=2.727, P=0.009) (t=6.653, P<0.001) higher than those adenoma. Conclusion Enhanced can reflect hemodynamic changes lesions, provide bases for tumor. Key words: Neoplasms; Adrenal diseases; Adenoma; Neoplasm
