ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the intensity of HBsAg and HBcAg expression in liver tissue patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection its clinical significance. Methods A total 994 HBV infected underwent biopsy histopathological examination. The was detected by histoimmunochemistry. Patients were divided into HBeAg(+ )/HBVDNA(+ ), HBeAg(-)/HBV DNA(+ ) DNA(-) groups according to HBeAg DNA levels; <2×normal (ULN) group, 2-<5×ULN group ≥5×ULN alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels. histologic activity (A), fibrosis (F), their correlations features analyzed. Logistic regression analysis used study factors affecting tissue. Results Among patients, 941 cases (94.67%) intrahepatic positive 553 (55.63%) positive; 403 (40.85%) ≥A2 371 (36.09%) ≥F2 fibrosis. degree A F highest (-) / (+ followed lowest group. significantly different among three (χ2=6.299, r=-0.760, P 0.05). There significant difference (χ2=12.352, P<0.01), but not A. negative ALT level (χ2=16.349, intensity. <2×ULN lower than that other two groups. Conclusions Most are more half them positive. is associated F, correlates level. A, it negatively correlated positively expression, level. Key words: Hepatitis B, chronic; Hepatitis surface antigen; Hepatitis core antigen
