ABSTRACT
Lung cancer is the leading malignancy in China terms of both incidence and mortality. With increased health awareness widespread use low-dose computed tomography (CT), early diagnosis rates have been steadily improving. Surgical intervention remains primary treatment option for early-stage lung cancer, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) has become a common approach due to its minimal invasiveness rapid recovery. However, post-discharge recovery incomplete, underscoring importance postoperative care. Traditional follow-up methods, lack standardization, consume significant medical resources, increase burden patients. Artificial intelligence (AI)-driven disease management platforms offer novel solution optimize follow-up. This study followed 463 patients using an AI-based platform, aiming identify issues, propose solutions, improve quality life, reduce recurrence-related costs, promote AI integration healthcare. Using this integrated educational videos, collaboration between healthcare teams assistants, daily logs, assessment forms, personalized interventions monitor The rehabilitation status was assessed by Leicester Cough Questionnaire (LCQ-MC). Two independent t-test one-way ANOVA were used analyze causes cough cancer. Most issues occurred within 7 d post-discharge, significantly declined on 14 post-discharge. Factors such as gender, smoking history, surgical approaches found influence females higher than that males (P<0.01), while elderly lower young (P=0.03). platform effectively addressed cough, pain, sleep disturbances through phased interventions. enhanced efficiency self-care capabilities patients, particularly management. Future with wearable devices could enable more precise care, further advancing application technology across multidisciplinary domains.
