ABSTRACT
Background Recent research showed that stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) plays critical role in mediating inflammation, metastasis of tumour and neovascularization tumour. However,There is still no report about the effects SDF-1 on alkali-burn-induced corneal (CNV).Objective The aim this study attempts to investigate chemokine receptor CXCR4 alkali-induced mice. Methods Alkali-induced-corneal animal models were constructed 15 eyes clean C57/BL mice by placing filter paper with 1 mol/L NaOH central cornea for 10 seconds. The animals sacrificed specimens obtained 3,7,14 days after alkali burn cornea. The expression SDF-1/CXCR4 protein tissues was detected immunohistochemistry Western blot, and mRNA reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR).Results absent expressed faintly stained normal level significantly enhanced different time points comparison control RT-PCR(P<0.05),and same trend seen proteins blot (P<0.05).The peaked seventh day began decline fourteenth but higher than level. Conclusion indicates an important formation new vessel model.
