ABSTRACT
The CMS Global Calorimeter Trigger (GCT) uses data from the calorimeters to compute a number kinematical quantities which characterize LHC event. GTC output is used by (GT) along with Muon (GMT) produce Level-1 Accept (L1A) decision. design for current GCT system commenced early in 2006. After rapid development phase all different components have been produced and large fraction of them installed at electronics cavern (USC-55). There has under test since March 2007. This paper reports results tests took place USC-55. Initial aimed integrity establish that proper synchronization had achieved both internally within as well Regional (RCT) provides input GT receives results. established, Monte Carlo Events electrons final state were injected inputs propagated outputs. was compared predictions emulator model found be identical.
