ABSTRACT
Indigenous soil samples were tested for Phosphate solubilization. Efficient phosphate solubilizng bacteria isolated. Effect of four different media on solubilization determined. Auxin production by these determined via bioassay and high performance liquid chromatography the in culture. Indole acetic acid indole butyric produced varying concentration with out addition tryptophan. These showed stimulatory effects growth root shoot elongation mung beans (Vigna radiata). Three promising isolates CMG854, CMG857 CMG860 investigated to establish effect plant growth. On a comparative basis isolate was most promoting growth.
