ABSTRACT
Prolactin receptor (PRLR) and Peroxisome Proliferator Receptor Gamma Coactivator 1 Alpha (PPARGC1A) are candidate genes associated with milk protein fat yield in dairy cattle. These were sequence characterized to identify exonic SNPs water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis). Six novel specific identified PCR-RFLP loci for these developed validated. can effectively be used genotyping PRLR PPARGC1A recorded population association studies yield.
