The giant whitefly, Aleurodicus cocois, is one of the main pests cashew trees around world. In present study we evaluated biological potential predaceous mites Amblyseius largoensis and Euseius concordis against A. cocois. consumption functional responses to prey egg densities E. were investigated in laboratory experiments. Logistic regression indicated that both predators exhibited a type II response eggs, eggs increased with density up maximum, after which it slowly decreased. value attack...

Raoiella indica Hirst (Acari: Tenuipalpidae) is a pest species that has expanded not only in geographical distribution but also the number of host plants. Control measures are still being evaluated recently invaded countries. In some countries and for crops, spraying with botanical extracts been used to reduce R. populations. Laboratory field studies point predatory mite Amblyseius largoensis (Muma) Phytoseiidae) as promising combating indica. However, this predator yet commercially...

One of the main factors limiting growth cashew (Anacardium occidentale) crops is incidence pests, which even more problematic because limited number pesticides available. Thus, biodiversity beneficial organisms deserves special attention for improving development pest management programs. These faunae include predatory mites family Phytoseiidae, are recognized as biological control agents. In present study, diversity and seasonality phytoseiids in plants were investigated during one year two...
