We tested the role of urbanization in conventional Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) Turkey’s developing economy and rapid urbanization. The effects an increase carbon dioxide emissions were due to usage fuel oil other traditional energy consumption patterns related urban development. Based on our findings, we suggest that EKC Turkey is not inverted U-shape. Thus, adapting alternative clean systems necessary unavoidable Turkey, Turkish authorities should consider renewable uses sustain a stable EKC.

This study investigates the long-run equilibrium relationship between international tourism, higher education growth, real income growth and direction of causality among these variables for Turkish Republic Northern Cyprus, which is not recognised by any country other than Turkey.
