The effect of Nb on the microstructure evolution γ′ phase in Co-Ti-V alloys has been studied. yield strength and ultimate are measured via compression at 900 °C. This indicates that with 1% at. present a dual γ microstructure. A Co3V exists 2Nb 3Nb alloys. mismatch increases increment content. rises as addition increases. After °C, <101>-type dislocation causes shearing plane base alloy. In 1Nb alloy, <11¯0>-type reacts γ/γ′ interface to generate 1/3<12¯1> super-partial...

A new approach to the preparation of regularly shaped NiO nanocubes and nanorods by an infrared heating evaporation method is presented. The growth model proposed be a vapor–solid mechanism. morphology nanocrystals can tuned carrier gas flow rate. samples consist that are highly crystallized with atomic-scale smooth surfaces. This novel could extended nanocrystal other oxides low volatility or high melting points. results magnetic characterization indicate grown from mixed target both show...

Hafnium (Hf) is an important material for a wide range of applications including filaments, electrodes and control rods nuclear reactors. Based on the equilibrium phase diagram, Hf exists in form hexagonal closed-packed structure at temperature below 1743 °C or body-centred cubic above °C. Here, we report coexistence ambient structure, face-centred with well-defined crystallographic orientation relationships pure produced by iodide decomposition method.

Abstract The bonding strength between dissimilar materials in composites is often relatively weak. Interface debonding and cracking are of common occurrence. As an effective method to minimize such failures, fibre stitching used enhance the when joining layers polymer composites. With presence reinforcing fibre, overall elastic response for each component composite is, general, anisotropic. This paper investigates behaviour bridged interface cracks anisotropic bimaterials. From equilibrium...
