This study aimed to identify and evaluate the antimicrobial susceptibility profile of extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Enterobacterales isolated from blood cultures patients with suspected sepsis. retrospective cross-sectional epidemiological was performed for four years (2015 2018) by accessing medical records diagnosed bloodstream infections in two tertiary public hospitals Brazil. Culture results tests bacterial strains samples were analyzed. During years, 2,263 culture...
The objective of this study was to investigate the antimicrobial susceptibility Listeria monocytogenes previously isolated from beef. experiment used ground beef, commercialized in city Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Using Kirby-Bauer method, analyzes were carried out 14 isolates . All strains (100%) showed sensitivity antimicrobials: amoxicillin, ampicillin, gentamicin, penicillin, teicoplanin and vancomycin; Six (42.86%) presented sulfamethoxazole / trimethoprim tetracycline; 3 (21.43%)...
