Microplastics residues in natural waters can adsorb organic contaminants owing to their rough surface morphology and high specific area, potentially harming human health when ingested. Although humans inevitably ingest microplastics, the bioaccessibility of microplastic-associated chemicals gastric intestinal fluids remains unresolved. This study investigated mechanism primary factor controlling polypropylene (PP) microplastic fiber-associated tetracycline (TC) ciprofloxacin (CIP) simulated...

Geting bituminous coal was sequentially extracted with petroleum ether, carbon disulfide, methanol, acetone, and isometric disulfide/acetone mixed solvent at room temperature, affording extracts 1 to 5 (E1 E5). In total, 77 organooxygen compounds (OOCs) were identified from E3 by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry analysis. The OOCs include 4 alkanols, 8 arenols, ethers, aldehydes, 14 non-nitrogen ketones, 19 nitrogen-containing 11 alkanoic acids, esters. This investigation provides an...

Shenmu-Fugu subbituminous coal liquefaction residue was exhaustively extracted with petroleum ether (PE) to afford PE-extractable fraction (PEEF), which then eluted through a silica gel-filled column. The PEEF and eluates were analyzed gas chromatographer/mass spectrometer Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. As result, number of 4- 7-ring condensed arenes (CAS) detected in the series 6-ring CAs along long-chain alkanes isolated from by column chromatography.

Geting bituminous coal was sequentially and exhaustively extracted with petroleum ester, carbon disulfide, methanol, acetone, isometric disulfide/acetone mixed solvent at room temperature to afford extracts 1–5 (E1-E5). All the were analyzed a gas chromatography/mass spectrometer. As main components, series of condensed arenes 4–6 rings detected in E2, but only extremely small amounts other extracts. The authors' experiment provides an effective approach for enriching from coals, especially...

Abstract The spatial-temporal distribution, source, and potential ecological risk of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in surface seawater from Laizhou Bay were investigated. total PAHs (ΣPAHs) concentration ranged 277 to 4393 ng/L with an average 1178 ng/L, thereby suggested a relatively moderate high exposure level comparison other bays the world. composition patterns source apportionment results revealed that coal, biomass burning, diesel emissions petroleum combustion as well...
