Abstract Na-ion batteries have been considered promising candidates for stationary energy storage. However, their wide application is hindered by issues such as high cost and insufficient electrochemical performance, particularly cathode materials. Here, we report a solvent-free mechanochemical protocol the in-situ fabrication of sodium vanadium fluorophosphates. Benefiting from nano-crystallization features extra Na-storage sites achieved in synthesis process, as-prepared carbon-coated Na 3...

Abstract Heteroatom doping has been proved to effectively enhance the sloping capacity, nevertheless, high capacity almost encounters a conflict with disappointing initial Coulombic efficiency (ICE). Herein, we propose heteroatom configuration screening strategy by introducing secondary carbonization process for phosphate‐treated carbons remove irreversible configurations but reversible ones and free radicals remaining, achieving simultaneity between ICE (≈250 mAh g −1 80 %). The Na storage...

The sodium ion battery (NIB) is a promising alternative technology for energy storage systems because of the abundance and low cost in Earth's crust. However, limited cycle life safety concerns NIBs hinder their large-scale applications. Here, we report nonflammable localized high concentration electrolyte (sodium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide-triethyl phosphate/1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl ether (1:1.5:2 molar ratio)) highly reversible NIBs. Viral nanoparticles have attracted extensive research interests in diverse applications of diagnosis and therapy. In particular, filamentous M13 bacteriophages shown great potential biomedical applications. However, its pathways entering into cells still remain unclear, this greatly hinders further use as a drug or gene carrier. Here, ratiometric pH probe is designed by conjugating two fluorescent dyes onto the surface M13. Since intensity ratio not influenced concentration, ion strength,...
