The relationship between the cuprate pseudogap (Δ(p)) and superconducting gap (Δ(s)) remains an unsolved mystery. Here, we present a temperature- doping-dependent tunneling study of submicron Bi(2)Sr(2)CaCu(2)O(8+δ) intrinsic Josephson junctions, which provides clear evidence that Δ(s) closes at temperature T(c) (0) well above transition but far below opening T*. We show pairing first occurs predominantly on limited Fermi surface near node (0), accompanied by arc due to lifetime effects...
TiO2/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanocomposites with two different TiO2 particle sizes were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method using source materials of Ti: tetrabutyl titanate (TBT) and commercial powder (P25). For respective series the same materials, we investigated additions that optimized nonlinear optical properties (NLO) limiting (OL) performances, explored relationships between structural diversity performance. Several characterization techniques, including X-ray...
The SQUID microscope is the most suitable instrument for imaging magnetic fields above sample surfaces if one mainly interested in field sensitivity. In this paper, both moment sensitivity and spatial resolution of are analysed with a simple point model. result shows that ratio sensor size to sensor–sample distance effectively influences resolution. comparison some experimental results images room temperature samples from our high-Tc an unshielded environment, brief discussion further...
We have carried out NMR experiments in the microtesla range using a high-T c DC-SQUID sensor. The measurements were simple magnetically shielded room. Resonance spectra of 1 H nuclei from tap water and other substance samples obtained field 7-70 μT. effect frequency, strength, direction phase low frequency external disturbance on was...
We present a tunneling study of the superconducting gap and pseudogap from near optimally doped submicron Bi${}_{2}$Sr${}_{2\ensuremath{-}x}$La${}_{x}$CuO${}_{6+\ensuremath{\delta}}$ intrinsic Josephson junctions whose self-heating is significantly suppressed. find that as temperature decreases develops around ${T}^{\ensuremath{\star}}$ $=$ 165 K while starts to open at ${T}_{c0}$ 40 K, which well above transition ${T}_{c}$ 30 K. discuss temperature-dependent properties phase phase. Abstract In this paper, ZnO‐containing coatings were prepared on the surface of AZ31B magnesium alloy by a simple one‐step micro‐arc oxidation method using zinc gluconate as source. The microstructure, elemental distribution, phase composition and chemical analyzed scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy spectrometry (EDS), X‐ray diffractometry (XRD) photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), potentiodynamic polarization tests electrochemical impedance carried out in simulated body fluids to study...
A high-Tc SQUID-based non-destructive evaluation (NDE) system has been set up in our laboratory. The SQUID was made on a 24° bicystal SrTiO3 substrate. novel quadruple excitation coil proposed for the first time and applied artificial holes aluminium multilayer structure noisy unshielded environment. experimental data shows that it good balance is very effective at detecting small hole defects.
