Enteric duplication cysts (EDCs) are rare congenital malformations of the children and can develop everywhere along gastrointestinal (GI) tract, being ileum most frequent localization. We herein present an unusual case cyst ileal origin who show a tubular morphology doesn't communicate with GI lumen. A 2-month-old boy was admitted to our hospital for investigation anechoic formation lower right abdomen surgical planning. The patient asymptomatic. Ultrasound (US) magnetic resonance imaging...

The aim of this study was to establish the prognostic effects proximity tumor main vessels in patients affected by soft tissue sarcomas (STS) thigh. A total 529 adult with deeply seated STS thigh and popliteal fossa were included. Vascular defined on MRI: type 1 > 5 mm; 2 ≤ mm >0 3 close tumor; 4 enclosed tumor. Proximity major 1–2 had a local recurrence (LR) rate lower than 3–4 (p < 0.001). In 4, vascular by-pass reduced LR risk. On multivariate analysis infiltrative histotypes,...

Portal venous aneurysm is a rare and potential dangerous vascular pathology, which can result in thrombosis or rupture. It may be congenital acquired. Acquired form related mainly to portal hypertension, chronic hepatic disease, trauma. We present peculiar case of involving the system nearly all its extra-hepatic components: main trunk, spleno-porto-mesenteric confluence distal segment splenic, superior, inferior mesenteric veins, 20-year-old male patient. The was complicated by massive...

Purpose or Learning Objective: Soft tissue sarcomas (STS) are rare mesenchymal ubiquitous malignancies, with the thigh most common location. The longest diameter (Dmax) at baseline is an independent prognostic factor for STS patients and used in SARCULATOR nomogram Response Evaluation Criteria Solid Tumors v.1.1. However, few studies have compared performance of alternative measurements. Our aim was to determine which dimensional assessment provides best prediction.
