In this research paper, aromatic sulfonamide-derived ethyl ester (p-TSAE) and its acyl hydrazide (p-TSAH) were directly synthesized, characterized, employed for the first time as prospective anticorrosive agents to protect mild steel in 1.0 M HCl conditions. We report on the synthesis of new coumarin derivatives coupled with heterocyclic and bifunctionalized moieties at position 7. The proposed structures were confirmed by correct elemental analysis spectral data (IR, MS, 1 H NMR 13 C NMR).
