Aims: This study aimed to investigate the effect of probiotic bacterium Enterococcus faecium (E. faecium) on gene expression ion channels in colon cancer cells. Methods: The cytotoxic SW480 cell line was analyzed by MTT proliferation test using E. bacterial culture free supernatants. channel genes cells determined qRT PCR analysis. STRING analysis used reveal protein-protein interactions proteins. Bioinformatic healthy and patient data revealed with GEPIA platform. Results: line's viability...

Objective: The apoptotic effects of odoroside A on lung cancer cells were studied in our project. We also supported and extended experimentally-proven results via bioinformatics analysis human tissues. Materials Methods: In vitro studies conducted using the A549 cell line. Cell proliferation was evaluated through a CCK-8 assay. For gene expression analysis, qRT-PCR method used, while CASP3 protein levels detected Western blotting ELISA. Moreover, oxidant status determined by measuring TAS...

In the research, modulation of gene expression with a novel G-quadruplex stabiliser was analysed. Activation by removal bulky hypoxia-responsive substituent enhances stabilisation. Hypoxic MCF7 cells incubated displayed significant downregulation oncogenes c-myc, bcl-2, and hif-1α. This study presents first hypoxia-activatable stabilization transcriptional regulation.

çalışmada Odoroside A'nın makrofaj dönüşümüne etkisinin...

A cationic BODIPY-based G-quadruplex-selective stabiliser is developed and shown to decrease cancer cell migration-invasion up 90%. The expression of critical genes (HIF1α, VIM, CDH1) related metastasis modulated. reprograms hypoxia-adaptive metabolism an 1.82-fold increase in O2 consumption, enabling back-to-normal switching energy metabolism, observed. Stabilisers with a strong G-quadruplex affinity (0.38 μM Kd) significantly contribute small molecule anti-cancer approaches.
