The absorption and emission spectra were investigated for lumazine alloxazine, their cyanated fluorinated derivatives, respectively. spectroscopic properties modulated by varying water concentration in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Some intriguing results found the samples containing 65 % of water, 35 DMSO. In this case, a notable decrease both intensities was registered, even larger than quenching observed other cases.
