In this work, we report on the promising photoluminescent behavior of cubic double perovskite Cs2NaBiCl6 doped with Mn2+ ions. Localized excitations centered Bi3+ ions in host lattice strongly absorb near-UV light. undoped compound, only very weak photoluminescence is observed, but manganese-doped samples, energy transfer from to leads intense orange-red photoluminescence. A broad emission peak at 590 nm assigned 4T1 → 6A1 transition octahedrally coordinated Mn2+. The excitation spectrum...
The halide double perovskite Cs2NaInCl6 doped with Sb3+ is shown to be a promising blue phosphor.
Designing N-coordinated porous single-atom catalysts (SACs) for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is a promising approach to achieve enhanced energy conversion due maximized atom utilization and higher activity. Here, we report two Co(II)-porphyrin/ [2,1,3]-benzothiadiazole (BTD)-based covalent organic frameworks (COFs; Co@rhm-PorBTD Co@sql-PorBTD), which are efficient SAC systems O2 electrocatalysis (ORR). Experimental results demonstrate that these COFs outperform mass activity (at 0.85...
The structural, optical, and magnetic properties of the vacancy-ordered quadruple perovskites Cs4CdBi2Cl12 Cs4MnBi2Cl12 their solid solution have been investigated. Both compounds crystallize with R3̅m space group symmetry that arises from ordering Bi3+, Mn2+/Cd2+, cation vacancies into layers run perpendicular to ⟨111⟩ direction cubic perovskite structure. is paramagnetic down 2 K a Weiss constant −2.88(3) an effective moment 5.840(1) μB. This compound exhibits weak orange-red luminescence,...
The photoluminescent properties of the lead-free double perovskite solid solution Cs2AgIn1-xBixCl6 have been investigated. In3+ end member, Cs2AgInCl6, is a direct gap semiconductor that absorbs UV light (λ < 350 nm) and shows little to no photoluminescence. Incorporation Bi3+ leads strong sub-band absorption peaks in near (∼360 extends into visible. This absorption, which thought originate from localized 6s2 → 6s1p1 transitions on ions, split by Jahn-Teller distortion excited state. In-rich...
There has been a great deal of recent interest in extended compounds containing Ru3+ and Ru4+ light their range unusual physical properties. Many these properties are displayed with the perovskite related structures. Here we report an array structurally diverse hybrid ruthenium halide perovskites compounds: MA2 RuX6 (X=Cl or Br), MRuX6 (M=Na, K Ag; X=Cl Br) MA3 Ru2 X9 (X=Br) based upon use methylammonium (MA=CH3 NH3+ ) on A site. The crystallize trigonal space group R3‾m can be described as...
Vacancy-ordered double perovskites with the formula
Precipitation of Cs2InBr5·H2O from HBr(aq) solutions containing Pb2+ ions results in powders that exhibit narrowband green photoluminescence (λmax = 521 nm, fwhm 89.9 meV). Synchrotron powder X-ray diffraction reveals trace amounts Cs4PbBr6 and CsPbBr3 cannot be detected by laboratory measurements. Broadening the peaks suggests crystals are tens nanometers size. Evidence for presence can also seen diffuse reflectance spectra. Cathodoluminescence imaging shows luminescence originates small...
