Heat stress leads to an array of physiological, biochemical, and molecular changes in plants affecting its growth development. An experiment was conducted find out the effect short-term heat on osmo-protectant antioxidants 37 genotypes (32 mutants five varieties) moth bean (Vigna aconitifolia). Seeds were grown plastic pots containing sterilized vermiculite. conditions created by exposing seven days old seedlings at 42 °C for one hour hot air oven. Analysis various parameters carried three...

Pearl millet is a multipurpose grain/fodder crop of the semi-arid tropics, feeding many world's poorest and most undernourished people. Genetic variation among adapted pearl inbreds hybrids suggests it will be possible to improve grain micronutrient concentrations by selective breeding. Using 305 loci, linkage map was constructed QTLs for iron [Fe] zinc [Zn] using replicated samples 106 RILs (F6) derived from ICMB 841-P3 × 863B-P2. The grains RIL population were evaluated Fe Zn content...

Pearl millet is a climate-resilient nutritious crop requiring low inputs and capable of giving economic returns in marginal agro-ecologies. In this study, we report large-effect iron (Fe) zinc (Zn) content quantitative trait loci (QTLs) using diversity array technology (DArT) simple sequence repeats (SSRs) markers to generate genetic linkage map 317 recombinant inbred line (RIL) population derived from the (ICMS 8511-S1-17-2-1-1-B-P03 × AIMP 92901-S1-183-2-2-B-08) cross. The base [seven...

Pharmaceutical co-crystals have gained significant attention in recent years as a promising green and sustainable method for poorly soluble drugs to improve their solubility, stability, bioavailability. In the drug development research field, it is an extremely useful technique does not require large number of synthetic steps well minimum amount solvent utilized or sometimes without solvent. This review presents comprehensive investigation into design, synthesis, characterization, evaluation...

Our experiment was carried out in order to explore effects of plant growth regulators (PGR; thidiazuron, paclobutrazol, and ascorbic acid) on physiological traits wheat genotypes under water surplus deficit conditions. Study revealed that relative content, membrane stability index, chlorophyll photosynthetic rate (PN), maximal quantum yield PSII improved with PGRs application across the both irrigation stress. The response HD 2733 genotype more positive toward treatment as compared other...

Pearl millet [Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br.] is a principal staple food for the people of arid and semi-arid regions world. It fast gaining importance as climate resilient nutricereal. Exploiting bold seeded semi-dwarf early flowering genotypes in pearl key breeding strategy to enhance yield, adaptability, adequate resource-poor zones. Genetic variation agronomic traits inbreds can be used dissect complex through quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping. This study was undertaken map set...

Abstract The development of new protecting groups that undergo neighbouring group participation (NGP) via six‐membered ring intermediates to promote the formation α‐1,2‐ cis glycosidic linkages complements established use 5‐ring NGP in terms stereochemical outcome. A selection glycosyl donors was synthesised possessed novel 2‐iodo‐ and 2‐(phenylseleno)ethyl ether an attempt highly α‐selective glycosylation by 6‐ring NGP. Although fully armed produced α‐glucosides as predominant reaction...

Photosystem 1 and 2 antioxidant enzyme activities were determined in wheat (Triticum aestivum L. cv. Sonalika) leaves. Seedlings from both control seeds soaked solutions like dithiothreitol, thioglycollic acid thiourea subjected to water stress induced by polyethylene glycol. less inhibited due seed soaking with sulphydryl compounds. The changes of enzymes higher seedlings thiol-pretreated than water-soaked seeds.

Callusing shoot emergence from these enhanced up to exposure lasted while longer treatment water-immersed delayed callusing. One polypeptide (26.6 kD) was regulated the callus derived explants. RAPD analysis detected alteration DNA sequences due s. The frequency mutation 1.6 % (4...

Glycosylation of a fully armed donor bearing 2-O-(trimethoxybenzenethiol) ethyl ether protecting group is completely α-selective with range carbohydrate alcohol acceptors. Low-temperature NMR studies confirm the intermediacy cyclic sulfonium ion intermediates arising from six-membered β-sulfonium ring neighboring participation. Selective removal achieved in high yield single operation by S-methylation and base-induced β-elimination.

Abstract A “Prins pinacol type rearrangement followed by C4‐OBn participation” in a cascade manner has been observed while probing the fate of carbocation some carbohydrate derived homoallylic alcohols Prins reaction. This led to an easy access tetrahydrofuran‐fused bridged bicyclic ketals (or 1,6‐anhydro‐heptopyranose frameworks) which are further converted into annulated sugars and C2‐branched heptoses.
