Nanosize hydroxyapatite (nHAp) doped with varying levels of Fe(3+) (Fe-nHAp average size 75 nm) was synthesized by hydrothermal and microwave techniques. The samples were characterized for physiochemical properties X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), mechanical dielectric properties. biological like...
Abstract Biopolymers are playing a vital role in biomedical applications. Among them, protein‐based biopolymers utilized for the fabrication of tissue‐engineering constructs, therapeutic molecule delivery carriers, emulsifiers, and food packaging materials. Wide ranges proteins extracted from animal or plant sources being scaffolds regenerative application. Here, an overview about protein structure, extraction procedure, solubility, various formulation‐based found literature discussed....
Mesoporous nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite (nHAp) rods of size 40-75 nm long and 25 wide (resembling bone mineral) were synthesized under microwave irradiation without using any surfactants or modifiers. The surface area average pore the nHAp found to be 32 m(2) g(-1) 4 nm, respectively. Rifampicin (RIF) ciprofloxacin (CPF) loaded displayed an initial burst followed by controlled release (zero order kinetics). Combination CPF RIF showed enhanced bacterial growth inhibition against...
