Novel poly(vinyl alcohol)/graphene oxide (PVA/GO) nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning and applied to remove Cu2+ Cd2+ from aqueous solution. The adsorption performances of the PVA/GO investigated removing Cd2+. results showed that onto increased as pH was increasing, but only slightly reduced with increasing ionic strength. could reach equilibrium within 25 min experimental kinetic data followed pseudo-second-order model. can be well fitted Langmuir thermodynamic parameters...
Metal/metal oxide nanoparticles with controllable size and shape are of importance to tailor the catalytic performances metal nanoparticles. However, a facile synthesis supported monodisperse metal/oxide polyhedra in absence capping agents remains significant challenge, especially at high loadings. In this work, surfactant-free MOF (metal–organic framework) thermolysis strategy is developed for ferrite octahedral nanocrystals uniform composition first time. The achievement our relies on use...
A novel silica-supported 2-aminomethyl pyridine adsorbent was synthesized using a post-grafting route. This synthetic route involved the reaction of (AMP) with γ-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane (CPTS) prior to immobilization on silica support. Based extensive evidences that amines and acids can play an important role in silanization as activator, meglumine mixture hydrochloric acid ethanol were utilized gentle but effective catalyst. Accordingly, three different pathways investigated catalysis...
Full elemental characterization of particle suspensions by monitoring the dissolved and particulate fractions within same FFF run.
Excessive phosphate in water will inevitably cause eutrophication. Efficient removal of is great significance to inhibit eutrophication, however, humic acid (HA) aggravates the uncertainty removal. In this work, mesoporous zirconia nanofiber (MZN) was synthesized and applied as an adsorbent for presence HA. The results showed that MZN had higher adsorption capacity, stronger affinity faster rate solution with HA than without HA, adsorbed on through complexation, which introduced carboxyl...
