The service life and safety of advanced nuclear reactors are heavily dependent on the stability core materials. In lead‐cooled fast (LFRs), lead‐bismuth eutectic (LBE) serves as coolant due to its superior thermal conductivity, low melting point, high boiling excellent fluidity, radiation resistance. During operation LFRs, materials in direct contact with LBE, making compatibility between LBE these a critical concern. It has been established that is highly corrosive metallic materials,...
Fatigue failure of hard coatings usually occurs at much lower loads than under static loading. Hence one way to evaluate coating adhesion should be cyclic loading close service conditions. In this study, a new method measurement for is introduced based on interfacial fatigue repeated indentation. Mono- and multi-layered with different states are evaluated by repeated-indentation test. Detachment the initially rim indenter imprint, apparently as result adhesive failure. contrast monolayer...
In this study, duplex surface treatments were used to prepare a ZrO2/Cr bilayer coating on zirconium alloy cladding for enhancing the wear and corrosion behaviors. The cross-section morphology of coated Zr-4 was characterized; results show that Cr- ZrO2/Cr-coated samples had similar morphology, more obvious undulates could be observed than pure Cr owing rough plasma electrolytic oxidation coating. Wear electrochemical behavior in 1200 mg/L H3BO3 2.2 LiOH solutions original investigated. test...
Previous studies have broadly dealt with TiAlSiN coatings that exhibit promising characteristics as surface protective layers for antiwear and antioxidation applications. In this regard, revealing the correlations among coating composition, structure, properties is vitally important developing advanced coatings. The present work addresses issue by studying structure of tailoring Al/(Al + Ti) ratios. To end, are produced arc deposition ratios 0.31, 0.42, 0.51, 0.62, respectively. results show...
Abstract A kind of antistatic coatings which were applied to nonconductive surfaces prepared with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as matrix, modified carbon black (CB) conductive filler. Compared sodium dodecyl sulfate, poly(vinyl pyrrolidone), the TMN-10 CB has better wettability, dispersion, stability and re-disperse. When content is 5 wt.%, surface resistivity coating reach 10 6 Ω*cm, denotes performance good behavior. The wt.% found exhibit excellent hydrophobicity high HV hardness....
