Monsoons over the Arabian Sea—the oceanic basin that separates peninsula from Indian subcontinent—follow seasonal cycles, reversing directions twice a year, in summer and winter. Rather than spreading across expanse of sea, southwest (summer) monsoon is often concentrated into jet central Sea. Evidence suggests variations wind stress force substantial upwelling ocean to west jet, weaker or even downwelling east. This provides nutrients euphotic zone enhances biological productivity.

Abstract : In the article, we focus on properties, sources, sinks, measurement techniques, and distribution patterns of major dissolved component ocean color, CDOM. Through an understanding complex characteristics environmental interactions CDOM pool, can gain valuable insight into a variety physical biogeochemical processes occurring in coastal shelf regions.

Raman spectroscopic analysis of shards recovered from two Portuguese shipwrecks, the Santo Espirito (1608) and Santa Maria Madre de Deus (1643), believed to be carrying porcelains Ming period have revealed some interesting novel results that inform historical ideas porcelain production. Rapid divergence in genital structures among nascent species has been posited to be an early-evolving cause of reproductive isolation, although evidence supporting this idea as a widespread phenomenon remains mixed. Using collection interspecific introgression lines between two Drosophila that diverged approximately 240,000 years ago, we tested the hypothesis even modest morphology can result substantial fitness losses. We studied consequences variation male epandrial posterior lobes...

The mixed ionic–electronic conductor 6H-Ba4Ta2O9 undergoes an unconventional symmetry-lowering lattice distortion when cooled below 1100 K in the presence of atmospheric water. This temperature corresponds to onset hydration, which reaches a maximum value for 6H-Ba4Ta2O9·1/2H2O ∼500 K. We use combination diffraction, ab initio calculations, and spectroscopy show that both processes are intimately linked. very large Ba2+ cations octahedral interstitial sites (B its hexagonal perovskite-type...

As shown by IncuCyte Zoom imaging proliferation assays, invasive triple-negative human breast MDA-MB-231 cancer cells treated with sub-toxic doses (5.0-20 μM, 72 h) of [GaQ3 ] (Q=8-hydroxyquinolinato) caused profound morphological changes and inhibition cell migration, which were likely due to terminal differentiation or similar phenotypical change. This is the first demonstration potential use a metal complex in anti-cancer therapy. Additionally, trace amount Cu(II) (0.20 μM) added medium...
