Carbon/epoxy specimens were made and stretched to fracture. In the process, acoustic emission (AE) signals collected their parameters set as input of neural network. Results show that using support vector machine (SVM) network can recognize difference AE sources more accurately than BP addition, accuracy SVM increases when number training increases.
