Three fluorinated ladder diamines with norbornyl benzocyclobutene (N2BC) segments were prepared by catalytic norbornene-arene annulation (CANAL) reactions of norbornadiene bromoanilines. NMR results revealed that two regioisomers obtained for each diamine, syn-to-anti ratios ∼2:1.
