Taxanes can cause hypersensitivity reactions (HSRs), which pose a significant challenge in the treatment of malignancies. Patients who are eligible for rapid drug desensitization (RDD) continue treatment; however, some patients experience breakthrough (BTRs). Data about risk factors BTRs during RDDs with HSRs to taxanes limited.
Objective: Inborn errors of immunity (IEI), formerly known as primary immunodeficiencies, are a group inherited diseases affecting different innate and adaptive immune system components. The most common finding in the heterogeneous patients with IEI is infections, which associated increased morbidity mortality. This retrospective study aims to determine infections receiving immunoglobulin replacement therapy (IGRT).
