Abstract In the drill core of Kola super-deep borehole (SG-3, 12,262 m depth) gold-bearing rocks Archaean age have been located at depths 9,500 to 11,000 m. veins, between 9,052 and 10,744 m, within this gold zone, quartz contains fluid inclusions with nanoparticles. There are 4 types (1) gas dense CO 2 , (2) liquid-vapor two-phase aqueous inclusions, (3) three-phase NaCl daughter crystals, (4) -aqueous inclusions. all inclusion types, there extremely high concentrations gold. The highest...
Individual fluid inclusions with dense carbon dioxide hosted in quartz from the gold-bearing interval penetrated by SD-3 Kola Superdeep Borehole were studied using modern techniques. The composition and density of determined Raman spectroscopy microthermometry. is 0.37–1.14 g/cm3 contains minor admixtures nitrogen (0.3–1.8 mol %) water (0.1–0.4 %). LA-ICP-MS data indicate that contain high concentrations Au (1–2611 ppm) Ag (1–4389 ppm), high-precision optical high-density CO2 Au–Ag...
The Kola Superdeep Well (SG-3) is an outstanding achievement of Soviet science and technology, drilled in Precambrian crystalline rocks reached a depth 12262 m. It was one series super deep wells planned within the framework program “Earth's Interior Exploration Drilling”. In order to achieve record depths, unique domestic drilling equipment materials capable working at high temperatures pressures were created. A fundamentally new technology for using hydraulic downhole motors developed....
Structural and petrological localization conditions age relationships of uranium gold deposits are discussed. A specific type adulariachlorite wallrock alteration is found to be associated with sulfidegold mineralization. The relation between uranium, gold, lithium the topography K2 M surfaces described. 3 D seismic model Kirovograd ore district suggested.
An exploration of the natural resources Russian Arctic was started in X century by Novgorod people. The main objective development river, lake, offshore lands, as well fishing and hunting products. territories to west east Northern Dvina River were learnt, settlements built XII on banks rivers flowing into White Barents seas. Then Trans-Ural Ugra areas started. At end XV century, first government ore-searching expeditions carried out. In XVI sea route Western Europe Siberia paved, ever...
The article presents the investigations in Pechenga ore region — one of largest industrial regions Arctic zone Russia, located on territory Murmansk area. researchers obtained new data chemical composition main minerals, content trace elements, including rare earths (REE), ores Pilguyarvi and Vostok deposits late polymetallic veins region. They found that textural types (massive, veined disseminated) differ significantly rock ore-forming components. also revealed enrichment with a wide range...
The discovery of a middle-scale mantle trough in the Kirovograd ore district under uranium, gold and lithium deposits brought new insight into metallogeny made it necessary to trace its surface structures M boundary. In this study, are described more detales using numerous data from exploration drilling, relationships between crustal Kirovograd-Novoukrainsk granitoid massif, mantle-related Korsun-Novomirgorod massif interface discussed, deep uranium fields correlated vertical metasomatic...

This paper reports on the physical-chemical parameters and vertical distribution of different types fluid inclusions in quartz from Au-bearing interval Kola Superdeep Borehole. We assume that gold ore mineralization was formed when a deep flux CO2 interacted with brines at depths 10 205-9269 m due to tectonic factors. In this paper, we discussed role these processes formation orogenic deposits including Southern Pechenga structural zone.
Based on the geographical atlases of 16th century, German scientist G. Leibniz proposed to Peter I a project aimed at discovering strait between Asia and America, studying Earth’s magnetic field, cartographic other research in Russia. In December 1724, signed decree equipping expedition, which was called First Kamchatka Expedition (1725–1730). 1732, expedition I. Fedorov M.S. Gvozdev through Bering Strait approached northwestern coast America area Cape (now — Prince Wales). At same time,...
In the Middle Ages, Russian state, formed around Moscow, was in dire need of metals. However, only comparatively poor quality swamp iron mined on territory principalities. There were no deposits copper, silver, gold, or any other nonferrous metals, and all these metals had to be purchased abroad, paying mainly furs. At same time, supply constantly threat-ened by bans from Western countries. 15th century, during reign Ivan III, under influence with active help his wife Sophia Palaiologina,...
