A bstract We explicitly construct all supersymmetric flux vacua of a particular Calabi-Yau compactification type IIB string theory for small number carrying cycles and given D3-brane tadpole. The analysis is performed in the large complex structure region by using polynomial homotopy continuation method, which allows to find stationary points equations that characterize vacuum solutions. as function D3 tadpole agreement with statistical studies literature. calculate available tuning...

We derive the N = 1 effective action of heterotic string compactified on manifolds with SU(3) structure in presence background fluxes. use a Kaluza–Klein reduction and compute moduli dependence Kähler potential, gauge kinetic function superpotential entirely from fermionic terms reduced action.

We study compactifications of type IIA supergravity on six-dimensional manifolds with SU(2) structure and compute the low-energy effective action in terms non-trivial intrinsic torsion. The consistency gauged $ \mathcal{N} = 4 is established gauge group determined. Depending torsion, antisymmetric tensor fields can become massive.

It is shown how the electromagnetic response of two-dimensional electron gas under quantum Hall effect regime transforms sample impurities and defects in charge reservoirs that stabilize Hall-conductivity plateaus. As it was suggested by previous works on a modified perturbation expansion for QCD, the possibility generation of large quark condensates in mass-less version theory is explored. For this purpose, firstly presented way well define Feynman diagrams at any number loops just employing dimensional regularization. After that, calculated zero and one loop corrections to effective potential indicate strong instability system under condensates. The also evaluated condensate dependence particular two...
