Abstract Currently, the 4th generation synchrotron radiation source SYLA (Synchrotron + Laser) is being developed at NRC «Kurchatov Institute». The will include of a free electron laser (FEL) and 6 GeV storage ring with 7BA lattice, which allow obtaining transverse emittance value about 50 pm·rad. A linear accelerator for full energy considered as both main top-up injector into driver FEL. To generate high-brightness bunch trains FEL, an S-band radiofrequency (RF) gun photocathode based on...

Abstract The aim of the article is to find out if there a difference between amount litter-fall in hornbeam-oak-pine stands according regeneration (naturally and artificially) age stand (middle-aged, mature). We analysed annual dynamics (litter) its fractions (needles Scots pine; leaves common oak; associate species; twigs; bark; pine cones; acorns seeds other acorn cups, winged seeds; lichens, mosses) middle-aged which were regenerated naturally or artificially on cutover sites following...

Abstract In this study, the biosynthesis of plastid pigments chlorophyll a and b was examined for most common shrubs in hornbeam-oak forest stands Western forest-steppe zone Ukraine. The characteristics pigments’ were determined terms plant species, vegetation period growth conditions (under canopy cover out open). gathered data on changes pigment complex with respect to variables confirms sensitivity environmental factors.

Article describes the new type of multiphase flowmeter – "Ural-MR" developed by Corporation Uraltechnostroy LLC. Its operation is based on single physical principle: all flow parameters are evaluated with X-ray radiation analysis. Currently last steps certification procedure held, mass production been worked out. Design flowmeter, basic principles and demonstrative results presented in article.

We introduce first results of our research in a promising approach for micro focal x-ray generation. The combines the use liquid metal jet target as anode and carbon based nanostructures field emission cathode. Results break-up CFD simulation cold cathode performance tests are described. planned experimental program is discussed herein well.

A compact and light-weight electron linac is attractive for a number of medical applications including intraoperational cyber-knife systems. Nowadays the design such accelerator can be based on using powerful high-voltage high-frequency gyrotron which provide now in pulse regime peak power up to 15 MW at frequency about 30 GHz. Taking into account this new possibility results numerical simulations beam dynamics with operating 27 GHz are presented paper. Designed consists two parts: gentle...
