The goal of this research was improving the mechanical and physical properties poly lactic acid (PLA) using cellulose nanofiber (CNF) as reinforcing maleated PLA (PLA-g-MA) a compatibilizer. PLA/nanocellulose composites were prepared through melt mixing with (5 wt%) two levels nanofibers (CNFs) (3 5 twin screw extrusion. Nanocomposites fracture morphology, thermal properties, crystallization behavior, behavior determined function grafted on maleic anhydride content scanning electron...

The objective of this study was to extract cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) from Linter dissolving pulp through a simple and environmentally friendly physical method refining pretreatment coupled with ultrafine grinder. morphology, structure properties the obtained NFCs were investigated using Optical Microscopy (OM), electron microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force (AFM), Fourier transformed infrared (FTIR) spectra, X-ray diffraction (XRD) Thermogravimetric (TG) analysis. OM results indicate that, Pulp...

The aim of this research is to study the pore structure as well assess liquid phase sintering behaviour Cu-28Zn powder specimens at different green density levels and temperatures. For purpose, samples were compacted obtain six densities then sintered 870°C, 890°C in part 930°C for 30 min. results revealed that spherical pores which are formed inside grains can be swept by grain boundaries due growth join primary so secondary intragranular eliminated intergranular enlarged higher Also, move...

Abstract In this research, maleated poly(lactic acid) (PLA-g-MA) was manufactured by different levels of maleic anhydride (MAH). Also PLA-g-MA effects as a compatibilizer were investigated on PLA/cellulose nanofiber (CNF) composites. The grafting reaction performed in the presence dicumyl peroxide (DCP) an initiator at constant level (0.2 phr) via reactive extrusion. Furthermore, four MAH (1–4 studied physical properties PLA grafted films. We used Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and...

The objective of this study was to investigate the bleaching performance a Mg(OH)2-based hydrogen peroxide process at high consistency. In work, an industrially produced chemimechanical pulp (CMP) bleached via Mg(OH)2- or NaOH-based processes 10% and 25% consistencies. results showed that under conditions 1.5% Mg(OH)2 3% H2O2 consistency had similar brightness to, lower yellowness index, higher opacity than 2.1% NaOH, Na2SiO3, same temperature (70 ºC) time (150 min) were for both processes....

In this study, the Ji-developed model for modeling young modulus of nanocomposites was suggested to predict interphase thickness (Y) and (E i ). The resulting evaluated accuracy by comparing it experimental moduli various samples. Additionally, effects using a compatibilizer or modified nanocellulose on composites are investigated. Those samples exhibiting highest Y Ei parameters TPS/NFC, PA6/NCC, PVA/NCC, which can form hydrogen bonds with hydroxyl groups due their ability bonds. When...
