The Cr-coated Zr alloys demonstrate excellent resistance to high-temperature steam oxidation. However, the rapid diffusion pathways for oxygen formed by inter-diffusion between coating and alloy at high temperatures significantly affect oxidation of coated alloys. To address this issue, we developed a Mo/Cr bilayer on combination dc-MS HiPIMS surface treatments. exhibits outstanding temperatures, resulting in mass gain approximately 86.6% 44.1% lower than that bare Cr coating, respectively,...

Abstract This study demonstrates AlGaN multifaceted multiple quantum wells (MQWs) with significantly enhanced localized emission, achieved through anisotropic growth control in migration-enhanced metal-organic chemical vapor deposition. By precisely regulating in-plane kinetics, pit-free semipolar sidewalls tailored microstructures MQWs were obtained, leading to optimized emission properties. Scanning Auger Nanoprobe analysis revealed Ga-rich apex regions within the microfacets, which...

Welding processing is an important method to connect precision component, but the internal stress and crystal anisotropy reduce its performance, which are difficult solve due specific demand on regional post-treatment. In present research, asynchronized laser shock peening (ALSP) synchronized (SLSP) technologies were applied treat joined Ti-6Al-4V thin plates. The microstructure mechanical properties of as-welded joint, ALSP SLSP processed joint investigated. results revealed that presents...
