Silver nanowires (AgNW) synthesized by a solvothermal method were incorporated into polycarbonate matrix solution mixing procedure. Films with thickness around 18 μm obtained, showing good distribution of the wires within polymer matrix. The thermal stability increased significantly, main decomposition peak shifting up to 74 ° C for an AgNW loading 4.35 wt%. percolation threshold was obtained at very low content (0.04 wt%), and composite electrical conductivity maximum (4.35 wt%) 41.3 Ω cm....
Silver nanowires (AgNW) with an aspect ratio of 85 were synthesized by a solvothermal process. The AgNW characterized SEM and XRD techniques. Nanocomposites these silver in polycarbonate matrix prepared simple solution mixing procedure concentration filler range 0-4.35 wt%. obtained films around 18 μm thick, optical microscopy characterization showed good dispersion the polymeric matrix. composites presented low percolation threshold (0.04 wt%) maximum conductivity at 4.35 wt% loading was...
