Identifying faults and structural features from seismic wavefields is a pivotal approach in hydrocarbon reservoir prediction. While attributes edge detection techniques are widely utilized prediction, they often inadequate for effectively delineating complex structures, particularly deep carbonate reservoirs exhibiting karst cave characteristics. Based on the stochastic process theory, we have introduced new algorithm that applies spectral moments statistical invariants to analyze amplitude...
We present the seismic and 3-D gravity study to define ore-controlling structures of sandstone-hosted uranium deposits in southwestern Ordos Basin, second largest sedimentary basin China. The instantaneous amplitude frequency are extracted from reflection data, impedance is obtained by joint inversion well-log post-stack data. Results attributes show that uranium-bearing exhibit low frequencies, amplitudes medium–low impedances. scratch analysis method employed on residual anomaly generated...
A Magnetotelluric profile stretching northward from the Wulungu Depression (on northern margin of Junggar Basin) to Dulate arc (crossing Zhaheba–Aermantai ophiolite belt) was carried out in an attempt probe crustal structure and properties East Junggar, NW China. Along profile, inversion model used determine electrical crust uppermost mantle. The results revealed that eastern Basin is composed shallow low resistivity layer underlying high bodies. There a detachment basement: upper Hercynian...
