Subcutaneous bronchogenic cysts in the scapular region are extremely rare entities, with only 17 cases reported so far literature. We present a case of three year old boy who underwent an excision and drainage what was preoperatively diagnosed as abscess region. Histological examination excised lesion showed cystic space lined by respiratory epithelium inflammatory cell infiltrate, consistent inflamed cyst.

Congenital pulmonary cyst is a common benign disease in the lung, but intracapsular hemorrhage combined with infection rare, which easy to be misdiagnosed.
