The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance strain ratio elastography in assessment retrobulbar orbital fat tissue. The tissue 14 eyes participants scanned by sonoelastography. All had permanent vision loss secondary glaucoma at least one eye. elasticity scores were determined and based on comparison average measured around optic nerve same depth. The mean values for (B) (A) 0.78+/-0.61 1.43+/-0.99, respectively (p=0.005). (B/A) 0.56+/-0.24.This preliminary showed that...

Developmental anomalies of the pancreas have been reported but dorsal pancreatic agenesis is an extremely rare entity. We report asymptomatic 62-year-old woman with complete pancreas.Abdominal computed tomography (CT) revealed a normal head, body and tail were not visualized.Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings similar to CT.At magnetic cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), major duct was short visualized. The final diagnosis agenesis.

Both absolute and percentile CAC scores can be used; however, a especially useful young women. aim of this study to present percentiles across age categories women men using large database.

Agenesis of the internal carotid artery (ICA) is a rare congenital anomaly. Most patients are asymptomatic and it usually discovered incidentally by computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). There close association cranial aneurysms subarachnoid hemorrhage with ICA agenesis. We present case 61-year-old male left agenesis associated basilar vertebral aneurysms. The patient complained headaches numbness on right-side face. Physical examination showed high blood pressure...

AbstractPrimary gastrointestinal system lymphomas constitute about one third of all extranodal lymphomas. Duodenal involvement the lymphoma is a rare condition. Periampullary or lymphomatous ampulla Vater even rarer. Since, periampullary not easy to differentiate from epithelial carcinoma these sites clinically and radiologically, accurate histopathological diagnosis essential plan optimal treatment strategy. To compare multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) and two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography (2DE) for left ventricular ejection fraction (EF); to make comparison between reconstructions of 1-mm 2-mm slice thickness at MDCT in analysis by using a semiautomated segmentation algorithm. In 43 patients global systolic function was assessed both 2DE. Functional data sets were reconstructed 20 cardiac phases (0-95%) with thickness. With semi-automatic ventricle segmentation, end-diastolic...

Background: In a number of previous studies it has been observed that coronary sinus (CS) ostium was larger and cannulation easier in patients with atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT). Aim: To investigate the size morphology CS AVNRT compare them to those (AVRT) control group using multidetector computed tomography (MDCT), which is non-invasive technique. Methods: Eighteen consecutive who were scheduled for catheter ablation our institution constituted study population....

Although rare, thymoma is the most frequent type of malignancy in anterior mediastinum. On occasions, radiological diagnosis easy, owing to current imaging studies like computerized tomography. Additionally, can be differentiated easily from malignant pleural mesothelioma cases. However, thymoma's differentiation lymphoma, thymic hyperplasia, or remnants sometimes may pose diagnostic challenges. Here, we report a case advanced mimicking mesothelioma, with circumferential encasement lung. A...

Arterial thrombosis is extremely rare in patients with factor V Leiden (FVL) mutation. Recent advances multislice computed tomography (MSCT) technology facilitated diagnosis of thromboembolic events accurately without delay. We report a patient FVL mutation and acute bilateral lower extremity deep venous thromboses, pulmonary thromboembolism, left anterior descending artery thrombosis, all diagnosed by MSCT. MSCT has been utilized for prompt the concomitant thrombotic pathologies simultaneously.
