We derive ab inito exchange parameters for general noncollinear magnetic configurations, in terms of a multiple scattering formalism. show that the formula has an anisotropiclike term even absence spin-orbit coupling, and this is large, instance, collinear configuration bcc Fe, whereas fcc Ni it quite small. demonstrate keeping leads to what one should consider biquadratic effective spin Hamiltonian case arrangement. In systems results new tensor elements are important interactions at finite...
We present theoretical calculations of the magnetic and electronic structure Mn-doped GaAs (in zinc-blende structure). The properties are shown to be very sensitive structural defects, in particular, As antisite defects Mn at interstitial positions. Only when considering such can experimental moments reproduced by first-principles theory. a simple model for understanding connection between ordering antisites, way which help stabilize partial disordered local-moment state. energetics...
The magnetic properties of small Cr clusters on Fe surfaces have been investigated using a self-consistent noncollinear $spd$ tight-binding method, parametrized through ab initio linear muffin-tin orbital results. A competition between antiferromagnetic coupling within the cluster and with surface has found, leading to arrangements for some configurations. origin this behavior is discussed in terms frustration aid Heisenberg exchange parameters, which extracted from calculations.
An experimental and theoretical study of PdMn bimetallic systems formed on Pd(100) is presented. It shown that a flat Mn monolayer can be at 90 K. A comparison calculated $3d$ density-of-states valence photoemission x-ray-absorption results suggests the anti-ferromagnetic, in line with earlier predictions. similar for Pd(100)-Mn-$c(2\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}2)$ alloy after annealing to 570 K two-layer-thick consisting Pd atoms arranged checkerboard pattern. Core level are consistent...
We address the interlayer coupling in a ferromagnet/antiferromagnet bilayer where interface of antiferromagnet is fully compensated. We discuss role different types exchange interaction for and bias.We propose two corrections to ideal Heisenberg Hamiltonian which may explain bias. The first correction angular dependence interactions second due magnetostriction imperfections. The contributes an anisotropy at favors either parallel or perpendicular across interface. The bias. Our analysis based on...
This paper uses a neo-institutional perspective to examine possibilities and obstacles for participation in coordinated individual planning (CIP) people with intellectual disabilities. CIP is tool interprofessional interorganizational coordination the objective of creating joint plan person needing cohesive care. Participation by service-user considered important effective but involving someone an disability may require special adaptations. A thematic analysis interviews 17 professionals...
