In this paper, we deal with a problem of local damage detection in bearings the presence high-energy impulsive noise. Such was identified during diagnostics raw materials crusher. Unfortunately, classical approaches cannot be applied due to character paper propose, procedure that cancels out noise rather than extracts signal interest. The methodology is based on regime switching model two regimes: first corresponding noncyclic impulses and second rest signal. We apply proposed technique...

A multichannel vibration data processing method in the context of local damage detection gearboxes is presented this paper. The purpose approach to achieve more reliable information about by using several channels comparison results obtained single channel analysis. a combination time-frequency representation and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) applied not raw time series but each slice (along time) from its spectrogram. Finally, we create new map which aggregated clearly indicates...

Local damage detection in bearings/gearboxes is one of the most intensively explored problems condition monitoring literature. Also for mechanical systems used mining industry this issue might be critical due to short time local overloading surfaces contact gear-pair or bearings that often happens during operation. In general, problem well defined literature, however, specific factors related industry, require adaptation existing methods even developing new approaches. paper, some promising...

Raw vibration signals measured on the machine housing in industrial conditions are complex and can be modeled as an additive mixture of several processes (with different statistical properties) related to normal operation machine, damage one (or more) its part, some noise, etc. In case local rotating machines, contribution informative process is hidden raw signal so detection difficult. this paper we propose use modeling time series identify these components. Building model may ineffective....

Nowadays, the utilization ofmonitoring systems and advanced IT technology in order to support maintenance management complex machinery is widely-used at all levels of maintenance. One purposes for using such a copper ore underground mine assess performance self-propelled machines, e.g. loaders. The effectiveness loader operation might be estimated by taking into account different sources information evaluation criteria. This paper presents method identification regime: loading, haulage...

In this paper, a problem of interpretation and analysis multidimensional temperature data acquired using an online monitoring system is presented. It highlighted, that apart from the acquisition there strong need to use automatic decision-making rules. A classical if then else approach i.e. comparison current value with priori assumed threshold not possible due cyclic nature machine operation influence external factors as ventilation or bulk material stream conveyed on belt. Moreover, these...

In this paper a new 2D representation for local damage detection is presented. It based on vibration time series analysis. A raw signal decomposed via short-time Fourier transform and each frequency bin are differentiated to decorrelate them. For series, auto- correlation function calculated. the next step ACF maps constructed. healthy bearing map should not have visible horizontal lines indicating damage. The method illustrated by analysis of real data containing signals from damaged comparison.

Many profitable methods of damage detection in rotating machines involve cyclostationarity. This approach exploits the fact that vibrations a damaged machinery possess periodic envelope. The frequency related to this behavior is strictly one characteristic frequencies associated with design and specific operation considered machine.
