The thermal conductivity of cross-linked bulk polyethylene is studied using molecular dynamics simulation. atomic structure the (PEX) generated through simulated bond formation LAMMPS. PEX with different degrees crosslinking, chain length, and tensile strain. Generally, increases increasing degree crosslinking. When length primitive increases, linearly. polymer stretched along one direction, in direction decreases perpendicular to it. However, varies slightly when three directions simultaneously.

Abstract Background Human periodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSCs) are one of the most promising types seed in tissue regeneration. Suitable biomaterials additional essential components that must cooperate with for vivo expansion or vitro implantation. Extracellular matrix (ECM) derived from mesenchymal (MSCs) was recently reported to be a substrate which culture MSCs could applied biomaterial scaffolds bioink. urine-derived (hUSCs) have several advantages; their collection is non-invasive...

Abstract Microtubules are highly dynamic cytoskeletal polymers of α/β‐tubulin heterodimers that undergo multiple post‐translational modifications essential for various cellular functions in eukaryotes. The lysine 40 (K40) is largely conserved α‐tubulins many eukaryote species, and the modification by acetylation at K40 critical neuronal development vertebrates. However, biological function plants remains unexplored. In this study, we show Arabidopsis thaliana constitutive expression mutated...

Magnesium (Mg) is important for both plant photosynthesis and protein synthesis. Nevertheless, latent Mg deficiencies are common, addition has shown an improved yield. Might such increasing yield cause "hidden" hunger microelements protein, if so, what the mechanism? We conducted two greenhouse experiments using low-Mg soil to investigate (i) effects of five levels fertilizer (20–400 mg kg–1) on eight elements crude concentrations in annual ryegrass white clover (ii) any depend upon nitrogen...

The growth and development of melon (Cucumis melo L.) are severely affected by soil salinization in many areas the world, but understanding molecular mechanisms underlying salt tolerance remains limited. In this study, a new RAV (related to ABI3/VP1) gene, CmRAV1, was identified melon. Protein structure homology analysis revealed that CmRAV1 contains an AP2 domain B3 domain, subcellular localization assay is localized nucleus. transcript level closely correlated with NaCl treatment,...

Unlike many superlattice structures, Ruddlesden–Popper phases have atomically abrupt interfaces useful for interrogating how periodic atomic layers affect thermal properties. Here, we measure the conductivity in thin films of n = 1–5 and 10 members (SrTiO3)nSrO superlattices grown by molecular-beam epitaxy compare results to a single crystal 1 SrLaAlO4. The cross-plane layering (k33) is measured using time-domain thermoreflectance as function temperature are compared first-principles...

We investigate the thermal conductivities of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) and their arrays based on molecular dynamics simulations. It is found that diminishing diameter, roughing surface doping impurity SiNWs can reduce by two or three orders magnitude compared with bulk crystals due to strong phonon boundary scattering. The simulated SiNW demonstrate arraying further lower conductivity owing laterally-coupled effect, decreases notably increased nanowire volume fraction, resulting in an...
