Using multitemporal remote sensing data from 1987 to 2012, this study extracted the coastlines along Bohai Sea and explored relationship between coastline change human activity. Our results indicate that general pattern of can be divided into two stages: a slow-change stage (1987 2002) rapid-change (2002 2012). The total area decreased by 1593.44 km2 at an average rate 63.7km2/year. length increased 633.7 km 25.3 km/year. natural 836.2 33.4 artificial 1469.9 km, 58.8 composed 27.07% 74.16%...

Suspended sediment transport and deposition are crucial physical processes controlling the geomorphological evolution of estuaries bays. Specially, under context worldwide coastal erosion, knowledge spatio-temporal distribution suspended concentration (SSC) its associated load have become increasingly important for bay management. However, our understanding mechanisms dynamics continues to be hampered by lack high-resolution observations. Here, we present a study factors over Laizhou Bay....

The development of the Yantai West Port was implemented on a large scale that had an impact dynamic environment surrounding sea area. Investigations tides, tidal currents, water depth, coastlines, and bottom sediment have provided basic data for surroundings. Based these data, this paper used MIKE 21 numerical model to simulate hydrodynamic processes erosion deposition characteristics Port. influence project sedimentary analyzed by comparisons before after construction. simulation showed...
