The potential use of chitosan films as a replacement to synthetic polymers in food packaging applications is receiving remarkable attention due their biodegradability and antimicrobial properties. This study presents the preparation composite from polymeric matrices, rice straw nano fibres reinforcements. were produced via wet mixing casting techniques with various reinforcement contents (25–35 wt%). aim this research investigate physical, mechanical, chemical, thermal properties synthesized...

The aim of this paper is to propose a fractional viscoelastic and viscoplastic model asphalt mixtures using experimental data several tests such as creep recovery performed at different temperatures stress levels. From best fitting procedure it shown that both the one curve follow power law model. It suitable for dashpot element arranged in series. proposed also available outside linear domain but case parameters depend on level.

Despite its many advantages, ballasted track needs frequent maintenance to ensure an adequate quality of service. However, tamping, traditionally used correct geometry, causes ballast degradation and loosening the already compacted layer, which quickly returns pre-maintenance position. Then, other techniques such as stoneblowing, well diverse solutions that reinforce trackbed, have been developed reduce settlement particles degradation. Given need further advance research in this field,...

Ballasted track, while providing economical and practical advantages, is associated with high costs material consumption due to frequent maintenance. More sustainable alternatives conventional ballasted trackbeds should therefore aim at extending its durability, particularly considering ongoing increases in traffic speed loads. In this regard, the authors have investigated a solution consisting of bitumen stabilised ballast (BSB), designed be used for new as well reinforcing existing ones....

The use of biodegradable materials for shopping bag production, and other products made from plastics, has recently been an object intense research-with the aim reducing environmental burdens given by conventional materials. Chitosan is a potential material because its biocompatibility, degradability, non-toxicity. It semi-natural biopolymeric produced deacetylation chitin, which second most abundant natural biopolymer (after cellulose). Chitin found in exoskeleton insects, marine...
