Abstract The Chinese Space Station Optical Survey (CSS-OS) is a planned full sky survey operated by the Telescope (CSST). It can simultaneously perform photometric imaging and spectroscopic slitless surveys, will probe weak strong gravitational lensing, galaxy clustering, individual galaxies clusters, active galactic nucleus, so on. aims to explore properties of dark matter energy other important cosmological problems. In this work, we focus on two main CSS-OS scientific goals, i.e., lensing...
The Chinese Space Station Optical Survey (CSS-OS) is a major science project of the Application System China Manned Program. This survey planned to perform both photometric imaging and slitless spectroscopic observations, it will focus on different cosmological astronomical goals. Most these goals are tightly dependent accuracy redshift (photo-z) measurement, especially for weak gravitational lensing as main driver. In this work, we assess if current filter definition can provide accurate...
The cosmic curvature $\Omega_{K}$ is an important parameter related to the inflationary cosmology and ultimate fate of universe. In this work, we adopt non-CMB observations constrain in $\Lambda$CDM model its extensions. DESI baryon acoustic oscillation, DES type Ia supernova, chronometer, strong gravitational lensing time delay data are considered. We find that combination favors open universe model, specifically $\Omega_{K}=0.108\pm0.056$ at $1\sigma$ confidence level, which $2.6\sigma$...
In this paper, using the combined observations of NOAA 16, LANL-01A, IMAGE satellites, VLF radio wave, and ground-based riometers, we study fluctuation lower ionosphere-associated precipitating energetic electrons during a geomagnetic storm on 8 November 2004. Associated with substorm dispersion injection observed by LANL-01A satellite, riometers obvious enhancements ionospheric absorption within electron isotropic zone, which they attributed to tail current sheet scattering (TCS) mechanism....
Neutral hydrogen serves as a crucial probe for the Cosmic Dawn and Epoch of Reionization (EoR). Actual observations 21-cm signal often encounter challenges such thermal noise various systematic effects. To overcome these challenges, we simulate SKA-Low-depth images process them with deep learning method. We utilized foreground residuals acquired by LOFAR during actual North Celestial Pole field observations, excess variances calculated via Gaussian regression, signals generated 21cmFAST...
The estimation of spectroscopic and photometric redshifts (spec-z photo-z) is crucial for future cosmological surveys. It can directly affect several powerful measurements the Universe, e.g. weak lensing galaxy clustering. In this work, we explore accuracies spec-z photo-z that be obtained in China Space Station Optical Surveys (CSS-OS), which a next-generation space survey, using neural networks. 1-dimensional Convolutional Neural Networks (1-d CNN) Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP, one simplest...
