We demonstrated high-performance gas sensors based on graphene oxide (GO) sheets partially reduced via low-temperature thermal treatments. Hydrophilic uniformly suspended in water were first dispersed onto gold interdigitated electrodes. The partial reduction of the GO was then achieved through low-temperature, multi-step annealing (100, 200, and 300 °C) or one-step heating (200 device argon flow at atmospheric pressure. electrical conductance measured after each cycle to interpret level...

An alkali-acitvated method was explored to synthesize activated carbon nanotubes (CNTs-A) with a high specific surface area (SSA), and large number of mesopores. The resulting CNTs-A were used as an adsorbent material for removal anionic cationic dyes in aqueous solutions. Experimental results indicated that have excellent adsorption capacity methyl orange (149 mg/g) methylene blue (399 mg/g). Alkali-activation treatment CNTs increased the SSA pore volume (PV), introduced oxygen-containing...

In this study, a novel mixed Ce–Fe oxide decorated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CF-CNTs) material was prepared through surfactant assisted method. The CF-CNTs characterized by various methods, including BET surface area analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and photoelectron (XPS). It found that the uniformly dispersed on of CNTs with mean size 7.0 nm. obtained used as an adsorbent to remove arsenic from...

We report a one-pot method to synthesize magnetic iron oxide/CNT composites (MI/CNTs) based on as-prepared CNTs (APCNTs) using KOH activation. MI/CNTs have high specific surface area, good dispersion and properties, making them promising for use as adsorbents arsenic removal. The results of this work are highly significant large-scale applications APCNTs containing Fe catalytic particles without the need prior purification.

In this study, a graphene–vanadium carbonitride (G–V(C, N)) hybrid is reported as novel support for the Pt catalyst in methanol oxidation. The catalytic activity of Pt/G–V(C, N) oxidation greatly enhanced compared with that commercial Pt/C carbon black support. outstanding suggests potential using graphene–metal fuel cells.

Recently, metal oxides with novel nanostructured architectures have been prepared by annealing the polyol-based alkoxides for water treatment. However, these materials often exhibit relatively low adsorption capacities possibly attributable to decomposition of surface groups during calcination process. In this work, we successfully synthesized a hollow iron-cerium alkoxide (NH-ICA) high area and abundant functional through an ethylene glycol mediated solvothermal method. Cerium ion doping...

Ceramic-coated polyolefin separator technology is considered a simple and effective method for the improvement of lithium-ion battery (LIB) safety. However, characteristics ceramic powder can adversely affect surface structure ion conductivity separators. Therefore, it crucial to develop that not only improves thermal stability separators but also enhances conductivity. Herein, network spherical α-Al2O3 (N-Al2O3) with multi-dimensional pore was constructed. Furthermore, N-Al2O3 applied as...
