To describe the pathologic characteristics and prognostic factors of primary breast sarcomas (PBSs).We reviewed clinical records slides 83 women with PBS treated in our institution between 1954 1991, a median follow-up 7.8 years. The majority patients had undergone surgical treatment. The main histologic type was malignant fibrohistiocytoma (n = 57). For whole population, 10-year overall survival (OS) disease-free (DFS) rates were 62% 50%, respectively. Fédération Nationale des Centres de...

There is currently little support to understand which pathological factors led differences in tumor texture as measured from FDG PET/CT images. We studied whether heterogeneity using analysis FDG-PET/CT images correlated with prognostic invasive breast cancer.Fifty-four patients locally advanced cancer who had an initial were retrospectively included. In addition SUVmax, three robust textural indices extracted 3D matrices: High-Gray-level Run Emphasis (HGRE), Entropy and Homogeneity studied....

Immunotherapy represents a new therapeutic approach in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) with the potential for prolonged benefits. Because of systemic nature and heterogeneity tumoral diseases, as well immune restoration process induced by immunotherapy, assessment efficacy is challenging, role FDG PET not established. We evaluated to monitor NSCLC patients treated checkpoint inhibitor. This was retrospective analysis 28 nivolumab, programmed death 1 (PD-1) blocker. All underwent scan...

Physical activity (PA) but also reduced sedentary behavior may be associated with better prognosis and lower risk of recurrence in cancer patients. Our aim was to quantify the variations PA time spent between before after diagnosis, relying on prospective data French adults. We investigated sociodemographic lifestyle factors these variations.Subjects (n = 942) were incident cases diagnosed NutriNet-Santé cohort 2009 2015. prospectively collected 7-day short version IPAQ questionnaire every...

Approximately 10% of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) have brain metastases at the time diagnosis. When surgical resection is not possible, whole radiotherapy standard care, a cerebral response rate approximately 30%. We report our experience an upfront association carboplatin and pemetrexed (areas under curve, 5 500 mg/m2, respectively), every 3 weeks, in 30 presenting newly diagnosed NSCLC. Cerebral MRIs were performed 6–9 weeks. The radiologic rates assessed according to...

Neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1) is the most common autosomal dominant disorder, with an incidence of in 2,500-3,300 live births. NF1 associated significant morbidity and mortality because complications, especially malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs), which mainly develop during adulthood. We evaluated our experience management MPNSTs by standard chemotherapy anthracycline and/or ifosfamide terms time to treatment failure overall survival. We performed a retrospective review...
