Abstract We present the first results of an ensemble and systematic survey oscillation mode variability in pulsating hot B subdwarf (sdB) white dwarf stars observed with original Kepler mission. The satellite provides uninterrupted high-quality photometric data a time baseline that can reach up to 4 yr collected on stars. This is unique opportunity characterize long-term behaviors modes. A modulation amplitude frequency be independently inferred by its fine structure Fourier spectrum, from...

The pulsating DA white dwarfs (ZZ Ceti stars) are $g$-mode non-radial pulsators. Asteroseismology provides strong constraints on their global parameters and internal structure. Since all the falling in ZZ instability strip do pulsate, structure derived from asteroseismology brings knowledge for as a whole group. HS 0507+0434B is one of stars which lies approximately middle we have undertaken detailed asteroseismological study. We carried out multisite observation campaigns 2007 December 2009...

Abstract We present an analysis of oscillation mode variability in the hot B subdwarf star EPIC 220422705, a new pulsator discovered from ∼78 days K2 photometry. The high-quality light curves provide detection 66 significant independent frequencies, which we identified nine incomplete potential triplets and three quintuplets. Those g- p- multiplets give rotation periods ∼36 29 core at surface, respectively, potentially suggesting slightly differential rotation. derived period spacing 268.5 s...

ABSTRACT Hot Jupiters, orbiting their host stars at extremely close distances, undergo tidal evolution, with some being engulfed by due to angular momentum exchanges induced forces. However, achieving double synchronization can prolong survival. Using the mesa stellar evolution code, combined magnetic braking model of Matt et al. Abstract Blue large-amplitude pulsators (BLAPs) are hot low-mass stars that show light variations likely due to radial oscillations driven by iron group opacities. Period changes provide evidence of both secular contraction and expansion among the class. Various formation histories have been proposed, but none completely satisfactory.
